Who we are
Our website address is https://gemora.blog. Gemora is an independent product discovery and affiliate content website: we research and present products from selected brands, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through our links.
Readers do not need an account to use Gemora, and the site has no comments, so in most visits you give us no personal information at all.
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive the topic you choose and the name, email address, subject and message you enter. The form delivers them to our inbox as an email so we can reply; they are not published or added to a mailing list.
Page views and affiliate clicks
When you open a product page, or follow one of our links to a brand, we record which product it was, the address of the page you came from (if your browser sends it), and your country, which our hosting provider derives from your IP address. We do not store your IP address, and nothing in these records identifies you.
We use these records only as totals — how many people looked at a product and how many went on to the brand — to decide what to feature and to report to the affiliate programmes we work with.
Cookies
Gemora itself sets no cookies for readers. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser's local storage, stays on your device, and is never sent to us; clearing your browser data removes it.
When you follow an affiliate link, the brand's website or its affiliate network may set cookies so the purchase can be credited to Gemora; those cookies are set by them, under their policies, not by us.
Members of our team who sign in to the administration area receive a session cookie. Readers never do.
Embedded content from other websites
Product pages include content hosted by other websites, chiefly product images loaded from the brands' or image providers' servers. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the website for us — Cloudflare, which hosts the site and protects it from abuse, and Resend, which delivers contact-form messages to our inbox — or where the law requires us to.
When you leave Gemora through a link, the website you arrive at has its own privacy policy. Please review it before you buy or submit information there.
How long we retain your data
Messages you send through the contact form stay in our mailbox for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any correspondence that follows.
Page-view and click records hold no personal information and are kept to compile our statistics.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Write to info@gemora.blog to make either request.
Where your data is sent
The site is served through Cloudflare's global network and its content is stored on our own server. Contact-form messages pass through Resend. These providers may process data in countries other than your own.
Changes to this policy
When we change how Gemora handles information, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
